Fire in restroom damages Shenandoah Burger King
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:47 PM on Tuesday, July 19, the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to the Burger King at 331 South Main Street for an investigation at the request of the police department. The response was quickly upgraded to a building fire as police then reported a fire in the bathroom. Car crashes into 209 bridge near Pottsville
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just before 11PM on Friday, June 30, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Pottsville City Stations 50 and 60 with Schuylkill EMS to the area of West Market Street and Gordon Nagle Trail for an accident with injuries. Rescue 63 arrived on the scene to find one car into a bridge in a construction zone with one occupant laying outside the vehicle. Schuylkill County firefighters attend final Flashover seminar of season
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Saturday, May 13, Schuylkill County firefighters gathered at the Schuylkill County Fire Training Grounds in West Mahanoy Township to participate in the final session of PA State Fire Academy “On the Road” Flashover Survival and Recognition. The session began at 8 AM when firefighters from Pottsville, Port Carbon, Schuylkill Haven, Sheppton-Oneida, Orwigsburg and Mahanoy City gathered in one of the classrooms on the school grounds to listen to a two hour lecture about fire behavior and flashover. Shenandoah firefighters find trash fire in vacant building
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:48 PM on Saturday, May 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Fire Department to the area of South Vine and West Cherry Streets in the borough for a trash fire. Crews arrived on the scene to find tires and other debris on fire in the basement of a vacant brick building once used in a mining operation behind Boyer’s Food Market. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11:30 PM on Friday, May 5, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Heights Fire Company to the area of 818 Shenandoah Highway near the entrance to the Wind Farm for an automobile fire. Engine 881 went responding and was advised of a report of a vehicle fire off the roadway near the entrance to the Wind Farm between Shenandoah and Brandonville on Route 924. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:15 AM on Tuesday, May 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched fire crews to the area of East Savory and William Streets in Palo Alto for a working building fire. The first alarm assignment included Palo Alto Fire, Fire District 59 (Port Carbon) and Pottsville Stations 20, 30 & 60. Sugarloaf strikes second alarm for Sunday night house fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 10 PM on Sunday, April 30, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Sugarloaf Fire & EMS to 104 Center Hill Road in Sugarloaf Township for a reported residential structure fire. Initial reports indicated 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting a fire involving the back porch at the address with one person possibly inside. Valley Regional Medic 26 was added to the box. Car and farm tractor collide in East Union Township
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:14 PM on Wednesday, April 19, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida), Mahanoy City Rescue 993 (West End) and Shenandoah ALS to 294 Phineyville Road in East Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
