Two vehicles collide outside Aristes

COLUMBIA COUNTY, PA – Shortly after noon on Tuesday, November 15, Columbia County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 350 (Aristes), 330 (Wilburton) and 270 (Valley Chemical – Numidia) to Route 42 in the area of the watershed in Conyngham Township for a head-on vehicle crash reported with injuries.  Ashland BLS and Shenandoah ALS were also requested out of Schuylkill County. Two sent to hospital after Hazle Twp. crash

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 9:45 AM on Tuesday, November 8, Hazle Township Fire & Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to 550 Oak Ridge Road in Hazle Township at the Amazon Fulfillment Center for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Hazleton City firefighters handle two fires Monday morning

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Just after 9:30AM on Monday, November 7, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazleton City Fire and APTS Medic 11 to 30 West Maple Street in the City for a reported house on fire. Car vs tractor trailer results in heavy entrapment in Hazle Twp.

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Thursday, November 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue and Valley Regional Medic 26 to State Route 924 in the area of the Fuel On Truck Stop in the Humboldt section of Hazle Township for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – The November 2016 edition of FIREHOUSE magazine was released Tuesday morning and includes a photo on the cover captured in Schuylkill County in January 2016 by Fire & Film. Fire & Film newsletter subscribers got this news hours before it was posted anywhere else! The photo features Tower 456 of the Citizens Fire Company #2 – Mahanoy City flowing foam through its bucket during a multiple alarm fire in Schuylkill Township.  Details and more photos from this fire can be found here.  Congratulations to the Citz on this awesome honor!

Fire damages Mount Carmel bank

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched the 1st alarm for a commercial building fire at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 31 West 3rd Street in Mount Carmel around 5:45 AM on Saturday, October 29.  The Mount Carmel Fire Department, Rescue and Fire Police, were due on the box as well as AREA EMS and Shamokin Fire units. First arriving units found fire showing from the from roof of the multiple story bank building.  A second alarm was immediately struck bringing in additional units from Coal Township, Atlas, Kulpmont, Ashland, Frackville and Englewood. Mahanoy City finds dwelling well involved on arrival

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 5:50 AM on Thursday, October 27, the Mahanoy City Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 10 North 8th Street in the borough for a reported house on fire.  Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Mahanoy City EMS were also due. Assistant Chief 455 was the first officer on air and was advised on multiple calls reporting a house on fire with a car still in the driveway.  The chief was on scene shortly after reporting a two story, wood frame detached dwelling with heavy fire throughout.  The status of occupants was unknown.
