Six injured in North Whitehall MVA

  LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Six people were transported to local hospitals following a motor vehicle accident Thursday evening.   Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 26 (Tri-Clover) and EMS 67 (Northern Valley) for two units just after 6:30 PM on May 26 to the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Cedar Crest Boulevard in North Whitehall Township.   Chief 2601 (Johnson) went responding and was advised of a two vehicle accident with up to eight people injured.  Fire Police Captain 2609 arrived on scene shortly after and stated he had a patient with facial lacerations.   Medic 6791 arrived on … Continue reading →

One injured in Washington Twp. crash

  LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Station 24 (Slatington) were dispatched shortly after 9 PM to the area of the Slate Bowl Bowling Alley on PA Route 873 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Northern Valley EMS (Medic 67) was also dispatched.   Chief 2401 (K. One trapped in South Whitehall

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 5:30 PM, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 11 (Greenwalds), 32 (Woodlawn) and EMS 62 (Cetronia) to 15th Street and the US 22 interchange for a motor vehicle accident with rescue. Chief 3201 went responding and was advised of a two car MVA with one person trapped with a head injury. Rescue 1141 and Engine 3212 arrived on the scene to find one car with heavy damage and one person needing to be extricated. Two injured in Hanover Twp. accident

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – As our photographer was clearing the Catasauqua fire, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 33 (Han-Le-Co) and 75 (Northampton Regional EMS) to Airport Road and Lloyd Street in Hanover Twp. for a motor vehicle accidents with injuries. Rescue 3341 went responding and was advised of a three vehicle accident with at least one person injured. Units arrived to find a three vehicle accident with two injured.  Fire crews assisted in immobilization of the patients and provided traffic control.  A second EMS unit was requested from Cetronia EMS. Couple trapped under tractor trailer in Lowhill Twp.

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – A husband and wife couple was trapped in their car when a tractor trailer rolled over onto them at the intersection of Route 100 & Kernsville Road in Lowhill Township.  Crews from Upper Macungie Township, Schnecksville and Lower Macungie Township responded with EMS crews from Northwestern, Cetronia and Kutztown. Lehigh Valley MedEvac was also called to the scene.  Extrication took over an hour and both occupants were flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest with non life-threatening injuries. Driver finds himself “hanging by a wire” in Alburtis

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – At 22:52 hours on Saturday, March 5, Lehigh County dispatched Station 1 (Alburtis), Rescue 2541 (Trexlertown) and EMS 66 (Macungie) to 112 North Main Street in Alburtis for a motor vehicle accident with rescue. Rescue 141 responded immediately upon the dispatch and was advised of a one vehicle accident, car into a pole, with one person still in the vehicle. Tractor trailers collide, close I78 for hours

BERKS COUNTY, PA – During the early morning of February 5, a storm bringing a mix of precipitation moved across Berks County. Roads became wet and a coating of ice quickly followed. At 6:26 a.m. Berks 911 dispatched Companies 33 (Virginville), 44 (Kempton) and 46 (Kutztown), along with EMS 590 (Kutztown) to Interstate 78 Westbound toward mile marker 37.3 in Greenwich Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
