LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 8:57 AM on Sunday, September 9, Hazle Township Fire & Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to Interstate 81 in the area of mile marker 143 southbound for a reported vehicle accident with possible entrapment and fire. Medic 11B went responding and was advised of a 15-passenger van rolled over with unknown occupants trapped and the vehicle smoking. 141 Chief (Kostician) went responding and was told multiple calls were being received placing the incident somewhere in a three mile stretch. One killed, one seriously hurt in Hazle Twp. accident
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 2:30 PM on Friday, August 31, Hazle Township Fire and Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to Route 924 in the area of Interstate 81 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 101 went responding and was advised of at least one trapped and unresponsive. Multiple calls were being received and some stated one patient was possibly deceased. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 3:30 PM on July 19, the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company was dispatched with Ringtown Valley Fire and Rescue (in place of Brandonville Engine 9-14) and Shenandoah ALS to Main Boulevard and Pole Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a propane truck. One killed in Nurermberg rollover
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – One person was killed in an overnight accident outside Nuremberg. Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Fire and Nuremberg EMS to 318 Hazle Street, Black Creek Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries just after 8:30AM on Saturday, June 2. Deputy Chief 582 arrived on the scene and found the accident to be off the Nuremberg by-pass. The chief found a single vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof and down an embankment. Sugarloaf finds large fuel spill after MVA
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 6:00 PM, Sugarloaf Fire and EMS along with APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to Interstate 81 northbound at the 145.7 mile-marker for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Medic 11G and Sugarloaf Chief 1 responded and advised of a car versus tractor trailer with unknown injuries and fluids down. Additional calls were being receiving reporting possible entrapment. 11G arrived on the scene and confirmed a car versus tractor trailer with everyone out of the vehicles. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Lower Macungie accident injures two
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 15, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 66 (Macungie EMS) to Route 222 and Kressler Road in Lower Macungie Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6682 responded and was advised that multiple calls were received reporting a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection with at least two people injured. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS.
