LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Just before noon on Thursday, August 10, Hazle Township Fire/Rescue was dispatched to the area of PNC Bank on Susquehanna Blvd. in Hazle Township for a wire down. Moments later, the tones were again set off for the same area on reports of a commercial structure fire. First responding units were advised of conflicting reports of a commercial building on fire or rubbish burning next to the building. Nuremberg puts quick hit on Eagle Rock house fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 12:20 PM on Sunday, August 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Vol. Fire Company and Sheppton-Oneida Vol Fire Company to 174 North Iroquois Circle in Eagle Rock (Black Creek Township) for a reported house fire. Hazle Township Fire & Rescue was also due on the box from Luzerne County. First responding units were advised the caller stated the bedroom was on fire with flames shooting out the windows. Fire in restroom damages Shenandoah Burger King
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:47 PM on Tuesday, July 19, the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to the Burger King at 331 South Main Street for an investigation at the request of the police department. The response was quickly upgraded to a building fire as police then reported a fire in the bathroom. Shenandoah firefighters find trash fire in vacant building
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:48 PM on Saturday, May 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Fire Department to the area of South Vine and West Cherry Streets in the borough for a trash fire. Crews arrived on the scene to find tires and other debris on fire in the basement of a vacant brick building once used in a mining operation behind Boyer’s Food Market. Car burns along Route 924 outside Shenandoah
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11:30 PM on Friday, May 5, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Heights Fire Company to the area of 818 Shenandoah Highway near the entrance to the Wind Farm for an automobile fire. Engine 881 went responding and was advised of a report of a vehicle fire off the roadway near the entrance to the Wind Farm between Shenandoah and Brandonville on Route 924. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:15 AM on Tuesday, May 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched fire crews to the area of East Savory and William Streets in Palo Alto for a working building fire. The first alarm assignment included Palo Alto Fire, Fire District 59 (Port Carbon) and Pottsville Stations 20, 30 & 60. Sugarloaf strikes second alarm for Sunday night house fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 10 PM on Sunday, April 30, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Sugarloaf Fire & EMS to 104 Center Hill Road in Sugarloaf Township for a reported residential structure fire. Initial reports indicated 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting a fire involving the back porch at the address with one person possibly inside. Valley Regional Medic 26 was added to the box. West Hazleton home damaged by fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 11PM on Monday, April 17, the West Hazleton Fire Department responded to 110 Winters Avenue in their borough for a working structure fire. Police, on routine patrol, had noticed smoke in the area and requested fire department to respond to the area of Winters Avenue and North Warren Street. SUV catches fire in Pottsville
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11 AM on Thursday, April 13, Pottsville Fire Department Stations 30 (Humane) & 40 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the area of Sands Ford on Route 61 in the City for a reported vehicle fire. Crews were advised police were on scene to the rear of the building next to Sands with a working engine compartment fire. P-1 arrived on scene and established command.
