Eight suffer smoke inhalation at W. Hazleton basement fire

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 4AM on Saturday, January 28, West Hazleton Fire 183 and EMS 583 were sent to 13 Jackson Avenue in West Hazleton Borough for a structure fire. Crews arrived on scene to find a working basement fire.  Two lines were stretched off 183 Engine 1 while 183 Engine 2 laid supply line into the scene.  183 Truck and 183 Rescue staged behind Engine 1 and sent their crews to the building. Shenandoah Heights finds smoke in a dwelling

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:29 PM on Friday, January 27, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 379 Ohio Avenue in West Mahanoy Township (Shenandoah Heights) for a garage fire.  The first alarm included the West Mahanoy Twp. FD (Heights, William Penn & Altamont), Shenandoah FD (Squrt 745 & Engine 742), Mahanoy City Rescue 993 and Englewood RIT. Engine 881 and Squrt 745 arrived on the scene to find a moderate smoke condition throughout the residence with a malfunctioning oil burner.  The box was held to West Mahanoy units and Squrt 745.

Ringtown upgrades to working fire, strikes the second

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Friday, January 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the 1st alarm assignment to 198 East Main Street in Ringtown Borough for smoke in a house.  The assignment included Districts 30 (Ringtown Valley) and 9 (Sheppton-Oneida) with Shenandoah (SQ745, E742 and T759), Mahanoy City (T461 and R993) and Columbia County Tanker 353 (Aristes).  Shenandoah ALS was also due. Pottsville finds fire showing from single family dwelling

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 2:15 PM on Wednesday, January 18, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 transmitted Box 28 for the address of 113 South Jackson Street in the City of Pottsville for reports of a house on fire.  The Pottsville Bureau of Fire was due on the box. PRE-ARRIVAL VIDEO: Shenandoah strikes the 2nd Alarm

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 9:15 AM the Schuylkill County 9-1-1  Center dispatched the first alarm assignment to the 200 block of West Centre Street in Shenandoah for a reported house on fire.  The Shenandoah Fire Department & Shenandoah ALS were due on the incident along with Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993. CARBON COUNTY, PA – Around 8:15 AM on Monday, January 9, Carbon County 9-1-1 dispatched a first alarm assignment to 256 North 2nd Street in Lehighton for a dwelling fire with flames showing.  Districts 5 (Lehighton), 4 (Franklin Twp.) and 6 (Mahoning Twp.) were due on the box with Lehighton ALS. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:15 AM on Saturday, January 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 sent the first alarm to 199 Valley Road in Foster Township for a reported house on fire.  First responding units were advised that all occupants were evacuated and the house was possibly fully involved. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 10PM on Saturday, December 17, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched a first alarm structure fire assignment to the 100 Block of West Main Street in Girardville.  Fire District 45 (Girardville) was due with Girardville BLS. Hazleton City firefighters handle two fires Monday morning

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Just after 9:30AM on Monday, November 7, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazleton City Fire and APTS Medic 11 to 30 West Maple Street in the City for a reported house on fire. Fire damages Mount Carmel bank

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched the 1st alarm for a commercial building fire at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 31 West 3rd Street in Mount Carmel around 5:45 AM on Saturday, October 29.  The Mount Carmel Fire Department, Rescue and Fire Police, were due on the box as well as AREA EMS and Shamokin Fire units.
