Helmet cam video: Plymouth house fire
Hanover Rescue (Luzerne County, PA) was alerted as part of the first alarm assignment with the Plymouth Fire Department around 1400 hours on January 8 to Vine St in Plymouth Borough as the RIT Company. While staffing, Nanticoke City Rescue 158 was also alerted to respond as another RIT. Rescue 137 arrived and was sent to work sending crews into both sides on the double block home. One dog was removed by the rescue crew, and other pets removed by the Plymouth Engine crews. Second alarm for Frackville business
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 6:44 AM on Friday, November 21, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 transmitted for the first alarm for a possible building fire in the area of North Lehigh Avenue and Spring Street in Frackville. District 43 (Frackville), Altamont, Englewood and Tower 456 out of Mahanoy Ciy were dispatched. Chief 43-03 quickly arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire at Amberdeen’s Bar on Lehigh Avenue. Heavy smoke was pushing from the building. Multiple alarms for house fire in rural setting
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:35 PM on Sunday, November 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched a first alarm assignment to 357 Aristes Road in Union Township for a reported house on fire. The initial alarm included Fire Districts 30 (Ringtown Valley), 9 (Sheppton-Oneida), Nuremberg Fire, Shenandoah Fire (Columbia), Mahanoy City Fire (West End), Aristes Fire along with Shenandoah and Ringtown EMS. Kitchen fire ignites row in Shenandoah
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 7:03 AM on Sunday, Novemberg 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 received a radio message from Shenandoah Marshal 742 reporting a kitchen fire at 210 West Lloyd Street in Shenandoah. The Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched with Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah EMS. Marshal 745 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire in the middle of a row and assumed command of the incident. Pre-arrival video from Ryan Township
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 10:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire Districts 26 (Ryan Twp.), 6 (Delano Twp.) and 25 (Rush Township) with Mahanoy City Citizens Engine 454 and Tower 456 to Chee Street in Ryan Township for a house fire. Chief 25-02 arrived on scene to confirm a working fire in a detached shed that spread to the nearby house. Engine 26-10 arrived to find fire venting from the roof of the house. Hi-rise evacuated after Pottsville Fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Friday, September 19 around 6:00 PM, Pottsville Bureau of Fire was dispatched to the 100 Block of Mahantongo Street in the City for an unknown type fire. The assignment was quickly upgraded to a working structure fire after crews find smoke coming from The Pottsville Republican Newspaper building. Engines 32 and 41 took the front of the building allong with Ladder 21. Engine 72 and 62 took the rear of the building and the C side of the row while Ladder 51 also took the rear. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just before 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, Fire District 43 (Frackville) was dispatched with Altamont Fire Company, Englewood Fire Company and Mahanoy City Tower 456 to the 100 Block of North Bell Street for a reported house on fire. Police quickly arrived on scene and confirmed the address to be 138 North Cherry Street. Police also confirmed a working fire and possible entrapment. Shenandoah ALS was added to the incident. Fire rocks Locust Gap home
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Around 9:30 AM on Sunday, June 29, Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched first alarm units to 296 Main Street in Mount Carmel Township for a reported dwelling fire. The first alarm brought the Mount Carmel Township fire department along with other surrounding communities to the address which was located in the Locust Gap section of the township. Three alarm fire rips through Pine Grove
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:55 on Monday, June 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Pine Grove Fire Department and the Pine Grove Twp. Fire Department to the area of 18 Spruce Street in Pine Grove for a reported structure fire. Shortly after dispatch, police arrived and reporting a large building heavily involved in fire. A second and third alarm were immediately requested to the scene. Multiple engines secured water supplies and stretched heavy lines to knock down the fire. Tanker task force for Hazle Twp. house fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 7:30 PM on Monday, May 26, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Township Fire/Rescue and APTS Medic 11 to 11 Getz Drive in Hazle Township for a reported house on fire. McAdoo Engine 49-15 and Quint 49-22 were due out of Schuylkill County and Trescow Fire out of Carbon County was also on the first alarm. The fire was quickly confirmed as a worker when a portable unit arrived on scene and found fire showing from the rear of the single family dwelling.
