Ashland fire destroys Arch Street home
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – Ashland firefighters were alerted to a house fire shortly after 6:30 AM on Friday, November 24. The initial call sent fire crews to 1237 Arch Street in Ashland after 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting a house fire. Fire District 38 and 45 were sent on the fire alarm. Chief 38 was advised of multiple calls reporting a house engulfed in flames. The chief immediately requested a second alarm which dispatched Altamont, Gordon, Mount Carmel Station 2 and Englewood for a Rapid Intervention Team. Hazleton firefighters fight Thanksgiving morning fire
LUZENRE COUNTY, Pa. – Just after midnight on Thanksgiving, November 23, Hazleton City Fire and Medic 11 were dispatched to 265 North Wyoming Street in the City for a reported building fire. Chief 3 was on scene shortly after dispatch and reported smoke showing from a three story taxpayer at the intersection of Wyoming Street and Diamond Avenue. Hazleton makes quick work of Friday morning fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Just before 8:30 AM on Friday, November 17, Hazleton City fire was dispatched to 619 Hanover Court for a reported house fire. Chief 3 was advised Luzerne County 9-1-1 received two calls for the incident however there was an address discrepancy and the location was possibly 619 West 4th Street. Fire destroys Sheppton house trailer
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – At 05:55 AM on Saturday, November 11, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched a first alarm assignment to 119 West Pine Street in the Sheppton section of East Union Township for a reported house fire. The first alarm included Districts 9 (Sheppton-Oneida) and 30 (Ringtown Valley), Nuremberg-Weston, Mahanoy City (West End), Hazle Township and Harwood. A tanker task force was quickly added by Chief 09-02 after receiving reports of a fully involved dwelling. Minersville strikes second alarm for Spencer Street house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – Around 11 PM on Thursday, November 9, the Minersville Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 111 Middle Street in Minersville for a reported house fire. Assistant Chief 511 was first to respond and was advised that 9-1-1 was receiving reports of a fire with flames showing near the intersection of Middle and Spencer Streets. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – At 2:10 AM on Monday, October 30, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched a first alarm assignment for 193 Ohio Avenue in the Shenandoah Heights section of West Mahanoy Township for a house fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – Just after midnight, the Mahanoy City Fire Department was dispatched with Shenandoah Engine 742, Ryan Twp. Tanker 26-30 and Hometown Tanker 25-30 to the 900 Block of West Centre Street in Mahanoy Township for a reported house fire with possible entrapment. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 4 AM on Thursday, September 21, the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department was dispatched to 13 East Liberty Street in their borough for a reported house on fire. Initial calls reported the rear of the house on fire and was quickly confirmed by police on scene. Chief 63 requested RIT to the scene from Pottsville. The Chief arrived on scene and assumed command. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just as the 63rd Annual Schuylkill County Firemen’s Association Convention prepares to take over Schuylkill Haven on Saturday, the fire department battled a house fire in North Manheim Township Thursday afternoon.
