LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. – At 4:33 AM on Tuesday, January 8, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Township Fire and Sugarloaf EMS to 6 Scotch Pine Drive in Hazle Township for a vehicle fire.
141 Engine 3 was advised that multiple reports were received indicating a plow truck on fire in the parking lot of Hershey Company. Hazle Twp. firefighter Gould arrived on scene shortly after and confirmed the report of a fully involved truck fire.
Engine 3 arrived on scene and stretched a line to begin extinguishment. Engine 2 also responded to the scene.
The fire was quickly knocked down and crews were clear of the scene by 5:15 AM.
