LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 5:30 PM, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 11 (Greenwalds), 32 (Woodlawn) and EMS 62 (Cetronia) to 15th Street and the US 22 interchange for a motor vehicle accident with rescue.
Chief 3201 went responding and was advised of a two car MVA with one person trapped with a head injury.
Rescue 1141 and Engine 3212 arrived on the scene to find one car with heavy damage and one person needing to be extricated.
Crews worked together and within 15 minutes the victim had been removed from the vehicle to awaiting EMS.
One person was transported with non life-threatening injuries.
