LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – A husband and wife couple was trapped in their car when a tractor trailer rolled over onto them at the intersection of Route 100 & Kernsville Road in Lowhill Township. Crews from Upper Macungie Township, Schnecksville and Lower Macungie Township responded with EMS crews from Northwestern, Cetronia and Kutztown. Lehigh Valley MedEvac was also called to the scene. Extrication took over an hour and both occupants were flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest with non life-threatening injuries.
