SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 10:45 PM on Monday, October 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 4, Stations 1 & 2 (Fountain Springs and Lavelle) along with Ashland EMS, Shenandoah ALS and Ashland Rescue to 400 Peter Street in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
Responding units were advised of a vehicle into a house with injuries. Fire and EMS arrived to find a single vehicle accident. The vehicle appeared to have traveled off the roadway, took out multiple trees, hit a metal clothesline pole and then collided with the house. Two people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Fire crews remained on the scene to direct traffic as Route 61 was closed until the car was removed.
