SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Early on Monday, November 12 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched fire units to the old China Inn on Route 209 in Llewellyn for a commercial structure fire. Units arrived on scene to find a working fire in the basement that was quickly progressing throughout the building. As hoses were being stretched crews experienced a water supply issue with a hydrant. Multiple tanker task forces were dispatched to the scene. Fire crews worked throughout the night to contain the fire and were finally cleared of the scene after daylight broke.
