SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 6:39 AM on Wednesday, August 28, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 43 (Frackville), Frackville EMS and Shenandoah ALS to the area of 433 South Lehigh Avenue in Frackville for a vehicle accident with injuries.
Responding units were advised of multiple calls reporting an accident with up to three vehicles involved and at least one person injured. Rescue Engine 43-10 arrived on the scene and found a two vehicle accident in the intersection of Lehigh Avenue and Laurel Street. Ambulance 4302 arrived on scene and initiated patient care.
EMS found one patient that was injured and they were quickly loaded and transported to a local hospital by the BLS. Firefighters controlled hazards from the vehicles while police investigated the accident. All units were cleared within the hour.
