SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 3:00PM on Friday, June 22, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Frackville, Altamont and Englewood Fire Companies with Frackville BLS and Shenandoah ALS to The Schuylkill Mall in the area of the K-Mart Garden Center for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6403 went responding and was advised of one patient with injuries from the airbag and it was unsure what the vehicle struck. Mahanoy City makes quick hit on house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 7:33 PM on Wednesday, June 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department, Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Altamont fire company for their RIT to 24 West Spruce Street in Mahanoy City for a reported house fire. Citizens Tower 456 was the first rig on the street and was given additional that police were on scene reporting smoke showing and oxygen cylinders inside. One killed in Nurermberg rollover
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – One person was killed in an overnight accident outside Nuremberg. Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Fire and Nuremberg EMS to 318 Hazle Street, Black Creek Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries just after 8:30AM on Saturday, June 2. Deputy Chief 582 arrived on the scene and found the accident to be off the Nuremberg by-pass. The chief found a single vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof and down an embankment. Sugarloaf finds large fuel spill after MVA
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 6:00 PM, Sugarloaf Fire and EMS along with APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to Interstate 81 northbound at the 145.7 mile-marker for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Medic 11G and Sugarloaf Chief 1 responded and advised of a car versus tractor trailer with unknown injuries and fluids down. Additional calls were being receiving reporting possible entrapment. 11G arrived on the scene and confirmed a car versus tractor trailer with everyone out of the vehicles. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 6401 responded and was advised of a two vehicle accident with at least two patients and one entrapped. Medic 6404 was quickly added to the assignment. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 15, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 66 (Macungie EMS) to Route 222 and Kressler Road in Lower Macungie Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6682 responded and was advised that multiple calls were received reporting a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection with at least two people injured. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Fire & Film Correspondent Tony Flaim was on the scene of a working garage fire in the borough of Shenandoah. Around 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, firefighters were sent to 413 West Coal Street in the borough for a reported garage fire. Chief 740 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire in a garage with heavy black smoke showing. Engine 742 arrived and stretched an inch and three-quarter line and began to knock the fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS. Large home destroyed by fire in Columbia County
COLUMBIA COUNTY, PA – Around 8:30 PM on Saturday, April 21 Columbia County dispatched Stations 270 (Numidia), 50 (Catawissa) and 350 (Aristes) to 2191 Mill Road in Locust Twp. for a reported dwelling fire. Units were quickly re-alerted for the working fire. First arriving crews found a large home set back in the woods with heavy fire throughout. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 11, 2012 Schuylkill County 911 sent the first alarm assignment to the 300 Block of West Columbus Street for the possible structure fire. The assignment included the Shenandoah Fire Department, Mahanoy City Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS.
