Bathroom fire quickly doused in the patch
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) as well as Squrt 745 from Shenandoah to 529 Mount Olive Boulevard in the Lost Creek section of the township for a dwelling fire. Altamont Engine 367 was the first unit responding and was advised of a fire in the bathroom. Helmet Cam Video: One trapped in Ringtown MVA
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 6401 responded and was advised of a two vehicle accident with at least two patients and one entrapped. Medic 6404 was quickly added to the assignment. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Fire & Film Correspondent Tony Flaim was on the scene of a working garage fire in the borough of Shenandoah. Around 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, firefighters were sent to 413 West Coal Street in the borough for a reported garage fire. Chief 740 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire in a garage with heavy black smoke showing. Engine 742 arrived and stretched an inch and three-quarter line and began to knock the fire. BERKS COUNTY, PA – Around 10:00 AM on Friday, April 27, Berks 9-1-1 dispatched Company 46 (Kutztown) to Route 222 Northbound between South Kemp Road and Hilltop Road for a reported vehicle fire. Initial responding officers were advised of a piece of equipment on fire in a field next to the highway. Chief 46 and Deputy 46 arrived on the scene to find a working bulldozer fire in a field placed a few hundred yards off the roadway. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS. Large home destroyed by fire in Columbia County
COLUMBIA COUNTY, PA – Around 8:30 PM on Saturday, April 21 Columbia County dispatched Stations 270 (Numidia), 50 (Catawissa) and 350 (Aristes) to 2191 Mill Road in Locust Twp. for a reported dwelling fire. Units were quickly re-alerted for the working fire. First arriving crews found a large home set back in the woods with heavy fire throughout. Ashland fire brings in two alarms
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 03:18 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Ashland Fire Department to 1438 Market Street in Ashland for smoke in a dwelling. Shortly after the dispatched Ashland PD arrived in the area with heavy smoke in the intersection. The box was quickly upgraded for the dwelling fire.
