SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 3:00PM on Friday, June 22, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Frackville, Altamont and Englewood Fire Companies with Frackville BLS and Shenandoah ALS to The Schuylkill Mall in the area of the K-Mart Garden Center for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6403 went responding and was advised of one patient with injuries from the airbag and it was unsure what the vehicle struck. Mahanoy City makes quick hit on house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 7:33 PM on Wednesday, June 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department, Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Altamont fire company for their RIT to 24 West Spruce Street in Mahanoy City for a reported house fire. Citizens Tower 456 was the first rig on the street and was given additional that police were on scene reporting smoke showing and oxygen cylinders inside. Fire & Film attended and photographed two parades over the last weekend. The first was on Friday in Shenandoah for the Columbia Hose Company Block Party. MAYDAY declared at four alarm fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 sent the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department to 20 West Main Street in their borough for a reported commercial structure fire. The fire was reported to be at Schuylkill Gun Works, a local firearms retailer. First arriving crews found heavy fire showing from the rear of the gun shop which was located in the middle of a row in the downtown business district. Sugarloaf finds large fuel spill after MVA
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 6:00 PM, Sugarloaf Fire and EMS along with APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to Interstate 81 northbound at the 145.7 mile-marker for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Medic 11G and Sugarloaf Chief 1 responded and advised of a car versus tractor trailer with unknown injuries and fluids down. Additional calls were being receiving reporting possible entrapment. 11G arrived on the scene and confirmed a car versus tractor trailer with everyone out of the vehicles. Helmet Cam Video: One trapped in Ringtown MVA
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 6401 responded and was advised of a two vehicle accident with at least two patients and one entrapped. Medic 6404 was quickly added to the assignment. One injured in Brandonville rollover
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS. Hazle Twp. accident sends one to hospital
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 15:00 hours on Thursday, February 9 Hazle Township Fire & Rescue were dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to State Route 924 in the area of Chestnut Hill Road for the motor vehicle accident with reported injuries.
