Ashland fire brings in two alarms
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 03:18 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Ashland Fire Department to 1438 Market Street in Ashland for smoke in a dwelling. Shortly after the dispatched Ashland PD arrived in the area with heavy smoke in the intersection. The box was quickly upgraded for the dwelling fire. An Ashland line officer arrived on the scene with fire in the third floor of a two unit row home. With smoke and fire visible, a second alarm was requested. Shenandoah worker sends one to burn center
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 11, 2012 Schuylkill County 911 sent the first alarm assignment to the 300 Block of West Columbus Street for the possible structure fire. The assignment included the Shenandoah Fire Department, Mahanoy City Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS. Chief 740 went responding and was advised that calls were being received reporting a fire on the second floor of the dwelling. Freeland house burns on Christmas
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 10:30 PM on Christmas night, Luzerne County 9-1-1 sent the first alarm assignment to 425 Alvin Street in Freeland Borough for a reported dwelling fire. Most of the first alarm units were already on scene of a multiple alarm dwelling fire in neighboring Butler Township. Non-essential units quickly picked up and responded to Freeland. A second alarm was requested to replace the committed units. Freeland Engine arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the eves, confirming the working fire in a two and a half story duplex. Allentown fire hits 3rd alarm
ALLENTOWN, PA – A fire broke out in the third floor of a dwelling Friday afternoon. City firefighters were dispatched around 3:20 PM on July 29 to 14th and Chew Streets for a dwelling fire with possible entrapment. The box included Engine 4, Engine 9, Engine 10, Truck 1 and Battalion 2. Apparatus responding from the Central Station reported smoke showing from 11th and Chew. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:00 PM on July 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Tamaqua Fire Department, Citizens and South Ward fire companies, and Tamaqua EMS to the intersection of West Broad Street and Catawissa Street in Tamaqua for a motor vehicle accident involving a car into a house. BERKS COUNTY, PA – Firefighters and rescue personnel had their hands full on Friday, June 10. Responders were dispatched around 2:45 PM to the intersection of Kutztown Road and Florin Avenue in Muhlenberg Township for a motor vehicle accident with a car into a house. Companies 10 (Goodwill) and 560 (Muhlenberg EMS) with Rescue 10 (Temple) were on the original dispatch. Camden, NJ fire hits 12 alarms
CAMDEN, NJ – Firefighters from the City of Camden along with multiple departments throughout New Jersey gathered in the extreme heat to battle a warehouse fire that spread to multiple houses and other buildings. Firefighters were called to Chestnut Street and Orchard Street around 4:15 PM for an abandoned tire factory on fire. The fire quickly escalated to three alarms with heavy fire through the roof. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Mahanoy City and Frackville were dispatched shortly before 3 AM to 915 East Pine Street in Mahanoy City for a dwelling fire. MCPD Unit 94 arrived on scene and reported a fully involved rowhome and requested a second alarm. Fire units arrived and the fire quickly escalated to a third alarm fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from three counties gathered to battle a blaze in the borough of New Ringgold on Sunday, March 27. At 21:44 hours, Schuylkill County 911 dispatched the first alarm to 301 Hughes Street for a reported house fire.
