Freeland house burns on Christmas
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 10:30 PM on Christmas night, Luzerne County 9-1-1 sent the first alarm assignment to 425 Alvin Street in Freeland Borough for a reported dwelling fire. Most of the first alarm units were already on scene of a multiple alarm dwelling fire in neighboring Butler Township. Non-essential units quickly picked up and responded to Freeland. Hazleton makes quick work of apartment fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 11:25 AM on Tuesday, December 13, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazleton City Fire and Medic 11 to 359 West Broad Street in the City for a reported structure fire. Chief 2 and Ladder 1 immediately responded along with Engines 2 and 4. While responding, units were updated that police officers were on scene confirming a working fire. Chief 2 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a three story end-of-row building containing businesses on the first floor and apartments on the others. The chief established Hazleton Fire Command. Buffet House destroyed in Saturday night blaze
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – A basement fire destroyed a business on Route 61 south of Pottsville on Saturday, November 26. While crews were still operating at the textile fire in Cressona, the box was sent to the Buffet House Chinese restaurant on Route 61 for a reported commercial fire. Crews arrived to find a working basement fire. An interior attack was initiated but all members were ordered to evacuate within 30 minutes due to worsening conditions on the first floor. Commercial building burns to ground in Cressona
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – A fire broke out at a textile facility in Cressona around 6:30 PM on Saturday, November 26. Arriving crews found heavy fire showing from the building. Multiple hand lines and master streams were immediately put into service. Command requested a tanker task force to supplement the water supply. An additional ladder was called into the scene for an extra elevated master stream. The fire eventually led to the entire building collapsing. Click here to view the entire photo gallery

Pre-arrival footage: Dwelling well off in SWT
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – At 2:00 AM on Monday, October 17, Lehigh County Radio dispatched Stations 26 (Orefield), 3 (Cetronia), 11 (Greenwalds) and 32 (Woodlawn) to 5259 Chandler Way for a reported dwelling fire. Responding units were advised that a neighbor called and stated he could see flames coming from a house across from his own. LCR advised they received two calls reporting the fire. Fatal Whitehall fire goes multiple alarms
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 9, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Engine Rescue 4041, Engines 3911, 3912, Truck 3631 and EMS Station 62 to 5834 Coplay Road in Whitehall Township for a reported structure fire with entrapment. Chief 3501 responded and was advised that the incident would be located at the Blue Fox Hotel. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 7:30 PM on Friday, August 12, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 26 (Tri-Clover, Orefield) to the area of PA 309 and Village Road in South Whitehall Township for an automobile fire. Chief 2601 went responding and was advised that multiple calls were received for a passenger car pulled off to the side of the road that was on fire. Allentown fire hits 3rd alarm
ALLENTOWN, PA – A fire broke out in the third floor of a dwelling Friday afternoon. City firefighters were dispatched around 3:20 PM on July 29 to 14th and Chew Streets for a dwelling fire with possible entrapment.
