Shenandoah fire destroys home, damages several others
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:19PM, on Thursday, July 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 134 South Market Street for a garage fire. Marshal 751 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire, he was advised by Communications that police were reporting possible entrapment and recommending a second alarm be struck. The second alarm was struck as heavy fire was scene from the front of a residence with exposures on all sides. Shenandoah makes quick work of house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:21PM on Friday, April 22, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm to 217 West Arlington Street in Shenandoah for a reported house on fire. The Shenandoah Fire Department was due with Frackville Ladder 43-20, Mahanoy City Rescue 993 and Lost Creek EMS. Chief 740 went responding and was advised two callers were reporting a glow in the residence and the sound of “popping”. Heavy fire from Shenandoah dwelling
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just before 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 508 West Mount Vernon Street in Shenandoah for a reported house on fire. The first alarm included the Shenandoah Fire Department, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Frackville Ladder 43-20. Shenandoah EMS was also due on the response. As the advisory was given to the police, the West Mahanoy Township police advised County that they could see smoke rising from Shenandoah in the area of the reported fire.
