SUV snaps pole in Black Creek
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 7, Nuremberg Fire & EMS were dispatched to the Tomhicken Road in the area of Pine Street in Black Creek Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 582 with Chief 581 responded as well as Ambulance 980. Units arrived on scene to find a SUV on its side in the woods. The vehicle appeared to have traveled off the roadway, through a ditch and then went airborne. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:48 AM on Saturday, October 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Mahanoy City EMS, Shenandoah ALS, Humane Fire (Mahanoy City) and West End Rescue (Mahanoy City) to 350 Brandonville Road, Mahanoy Township, for a motor vehicle accident with injury. Engine 451 responded and was advised of a motorcycle accident with one female injured. Ambulance 4803 and Medic 64 were also advised of the additional and requested aeromedical be placed on standby. Lower Macungie accident injures two
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 15, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 66 (Macungie EMS) to Route 222 and Kressler Road in Lower Macungie Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6682 responded and was advised that multiple calls were received reporting a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection with at least two people injured. Cetronia Medic 6291 arrived on the scene shortly after and reported a multiple vehicle accident with one vehicle in a gulley with multiple walking wounded. EMS Command was established. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS. Sheppton Engine-Rescue 9-10 responded and was advised the accident would be located at 924 and Pumping Station Road with one vehicle overturned. 9-10 arrived on the scene to find a passenger vehicle on its roof against a pole with one female walking wounded. … Continue reading

Columbia frees one from van in Shenandoah
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 3:30PM on Sunday, December 4, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah Fire and EMS to the area of Redner’s Market on the Gold Star Highway for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6404 responded and was advised of a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. There was no additional information on injuries and everyone was reported to be out of the vehicles. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before noon on Tuesday, November 8, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah ALS to 215 West New York Street in Shenandoah for a traumatic injury. Moments later, the rescue assignment was dispatched to assist with extrication. The assignment included the Shenandoah Fire Department and West End Rescue 993 from Mahanoy City. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 4:30 PM on Wednesday, August 17 Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched units to the intersection of Golden Key Road and Schochary Road in Lynn Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Stations 17 (New Tripoli) and 71 (Northwestern EMS) were dispatched.
