Vehicle takes out tree, hits pole then house
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 10:45 PM on Monday, October 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 4, Stations 1 & 2 (Fountain Springs and Lavelle) along with Ashland EMS, Shenandoah ALS and Ashland Rescue to 400 Peter Street in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Responding units were advised of a vehicle into a house with injuries. Fire and EMS arrived to find a single vehicle accident. Car catches fire on I81
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 21, Luzerne County dispatched Dorrance Twp. Fire and Dorrance EMS to Interstate 81 at MM156 for a reported vehicle fire. Additional was provided that smoke was coming from a passenger car. Hazle Twp. Assistance Chief 141-4 (Zoshak) come up on radio and stated he came upon the vehicle fire and was now reporting a fully involved vehicle off the roadway and all occupants were accounted for. Dorrance Twp. Fire arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire.

Hazle Twp. accident sends one to hospital
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 15:00 hours on Thursday, February 9 Hazle Township Fire & Rescue were dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to State Route 924 in the area of Chestnut Hill Road for the motor vehicle accident with reported injuries. Rescue Engine 103 with Chief 101 immediately responded to the scene. Units were advised that Medic 11C was on the scene of a severe motor vehicle accident at the above location requiring fire, medics and PSP. Columbia frees one from van in Shenandoah
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 3:30PM on Sunday, December 4, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah Fire and EMS to the area of Redner’s Market on the Gold Star Highway for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6404 responded and was advised of a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. There was no additional information on injuries and everyone was reported to be out of the vehicles. Fire/Rescue and APTS Medic 11 to 457 Susquehanna Blvd. (State Rt. 93) in front of the Radio Shack for a vehicle into a pole with reported injuries. Tri-Clover handles SWT auto fire
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 7:30 PM on Friday, August 12, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 26 (Tri-Clover, Orefield) to the area of PA 309 and Village Road in South Whitehall Township for an automobile fire. Chief 2601 went responding and was advised that multiple calls were received for a passenger car pulled off to the side of the road that was on fire. Jeep cruises into Tamaqua home
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:00 PM on July 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Tamaqua Fire Department, Citizens and South Ward fire companies, and Tamaqua EMS to the intersection of West Broad Street and Catawissa Street in Tamaqua for a motor vehicle accident involving a car into a house. Schnecksville battles car fire
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Station 22 (Schnecksville) found a fully involved car fire in a parking lot at the intersection of Levans Road and Coffeetown Road in North Whitehall Township just before 3:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5. Tanker 2221 arrived on the scene and stretched a hand line to knock down the fire. After the bulk of the fire was knocked down, a foam line was placed in service to extinguish a few stubborn hot spots. Crews remained on scene for approximately an hour. Car crashes into Muhlenberg home, neighborhood evacuated
BERKS COUNTY, PA – Firefighters and rescue personnel had their hands full on Friday, June 10. Responders were dispatched around 2:45 PM to the intersection of Kutztown Road and Florin Avenue in Muhlenberg Township for a motor vehicle accident with a car into a house.
