SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Monday, January 7 as firefighters were watching the BCS Championship Bowl Game Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida and Brandonville) with Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS to Rattlin Run Road in the area of the East Union Twp. / Union Twp. Line for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 64, 6404, Engine 9-10 (Sheppton) and Rescue 993 all responded in minutes and were advised of a single vehicle rollover with one female confined inside a pick-up truck. Occupants luckily escape serious injury in Sheppton

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:15 PM on Saturday, December 31, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Sheppton-Oneida Fire / Rescue, Nuremberg EMS and Luzerne County Medic 11 to the intersection of Center Street (SR 924) and Green Mountain Road in East Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
