LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Thursday, November 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue and Valley Regional Medic 26 to State Route 924 in the area of the Fuel On Truck Stop in the Humboldt section of Hazle Township for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Minersville rescues one from apartment building fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just after 2:30 PM on Friday, March 25, the Minersville Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Sunbury Street and Delaware Street for a reported apartment building fire. Police units in the area noticed smoke coming from the windows of the building on the corner. Minersville Fire Chief 510 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working building fire and requested the second alarm be dispatched bringing Pottsville Stations 50 and 60 to the scene. Two jump from Pottsville house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11:15 AM on Saturday, November 17 the Pottsville Fire Department was dispatched to 101 North 16th Street in the City for a house fire with entrapment. Responding crews were advised of two people reportedly trapped in the house. Units arrived to find heavy fire to the rear of a three story duplex. Fire had consumed almost the entire “C” side of the house and heavy smoke was pushing from the windows. Two people had jumped from upper floors to escape from the heat and flames. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 8:57 AM on Sunday, September 9, Hazle Township Fire & Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to Interstate 81 in the area of mile marker 143 southbound for a reported vehicle accident with possible entrapment and fire. One killed, one seriously hurt in Hazle Twp. accident
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 2:30 PM on Friday, August 31, Hazle Township Fire and Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to Route 924 in the area of Interstate 81 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 101 went responding and was advised of at least one trapped and unresponsive. Multiple calls were being received and some stated one patient was possibly deceased. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – One person was killed in an overnight accident outside Nuremberg. Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Fire and Nuremberg EMS to 318 Hazle Street, Black Creek Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries just after 8:30AM on Saturday, June 2. Deputy Chief 582 arrived on the scene and found the accident to be off the Nuremberg by-pass. The chief found a single vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof and down an embankment. Sugarloaf finds large fuel spill after MVA
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 6:00 PM, Sugarloaf Fire and EMS along with APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to Interstate 81 northbound at the 145.7 mile-marker for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Medic 11G and Sugarloaf Chief 1 responded and advised of a car versus tractor trailer with unknown injuries and fluids down. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Columbia frees one from van in Shenandoah
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 3:30PM on Sunday, December 4, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah Fire and EMS to the area of Redner’s Market on the Gold Star Highway for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6404 responded and was advised of a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. There was no additional information on injuries and everyone was reported to be out of the vehicles.
