SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:55 PM on Sunday, May 13, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 Transmitted Box 37 for the address of 231 Pierce Street in the City of Pottsville for a reported house fire with entrapment. Responding units were advised of multiple calls reporting a fire with multiple people trapped within. The police department arrived on the scene and confirmed a fully involved single family dwelling. Mahanoy City strikes second alarm on rowhome fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 2:00 AM on April 6 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department, Frackville for their ladder, Mahanoy City EMS and Shenandoah ALS to 329 East Centre Street in Mahanoy City for a reported house fire. First responding units were advised that multiple calls were received for smoke and flames coming from the first floor of a rowhome. One killed, one seriously hurt in Hazle Twp. accident
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 2:30 PM on Friday, August 31, Hazle Township Fire and Rescue was dispatched with APTS Medic 11 to Route 924 in the area of Interstate 81 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 101 went responding and was advised of at least one trapped and unresponsive. Multiple calls were being received and some stated one patient was possibly deceased. Shenandoah fire claims life, escalates to over three alarms
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 9:30 PM on Saturday, July 7, the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to 220 West Columbus Street in the borough for a reported fully involved house fire. Frackville Ladder 43-20, Nuremberg Ladder 581, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS were also on the first alarm. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – One person was killed in an overnight accident outside Nuremberg. Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Fire and Nuremberg EMS to 318 Hazle Street, Black Creek Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries just after 8:30AM on Saturday, June 2. Deputy Chief 582 arrived on the scene and found the accident to be off the Nuremberg by-pass. The chief found a single vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof and down an embankment. Fatal Whitehall fire goes multiple alarms
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 9, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Engine Rescue 4041, Engines 3911, 3912, Truck 3631 and EMS Station 62 to 5834 Coplay Road in Whitehall Township for a reported structure fire with entrapment. Chief 3501 responded and was advised that the incident would be located at the Blue Fox Hotel.
