LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Thursday, November 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue and Valley Regional Medic 26 to State Route 924 in the area of the Fuel On Truck Stop in the Humboldt section of Hazle Township for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Chief 141 went responding ad was advised of a car versus tractor trailer with multiple calls reporting “heavy, heavy entrapment” in the car with one person bloodied but conscious in the car. Mahanoy City finds dwelling well involved on arrival
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 5:50 AM on Thursday, October 27, the Mahanoy City Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 10 North 8th Street in the borough for a reported house on fire. Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Mahanoy City EMS were also due. Assistant Chief 455 was the first officer on air and was advised on multiple calls reporting a house on fire with a car still in the driveway. Hazleton douses basement fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – After 5PM on Thursday, July 14, the Hazleton City Fire Department and APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to 640 Monges Street in the City for a reported structure fire. First responding units were advised of a caller reporting a basement fire and everyone was evacuating the structure. The Duty Chief arrived on the scene to find a two and a half single family dwelling with nothing showing from the exterior. Shenandoah fire destroys home, damages several others
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:19PM, on Thursday, July 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 134 South Market Street for a garage fire. Marshal 751 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire, he was advised by Communications that police were reporting possible entrapment and recommending a second alarm be struck. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just after 7AM on Friday, May 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire Districts 38 (Ashland) and 45 (Girardville) to 421 West Center Street in Ashland for a reported house fire. A second alarm was quickly struck as Chief 38-02 arrived on the scene and found heavy smoke showing from a two and a half story residence with exposures attached on both sides. Mahanoy Area mock DUI accident
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Two cars collide, multiple teenagers are trapped in the vehicles, one teenager is thrown from the back seat through the windshield – she is dead on the hood. A distraught mother rushes into the scene as first responders arrive. The police arrest the driver of one vehicle, he was driving while impaired and more than likely created this disaster. 3+ alarms in Mount Carmel
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – At 8:20AM, Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm to 232 South Beech Street in Mount Carmel for a working house fire. As the first alarm tones were being dropped, local police got on radio to report a fire on Beech Street.
