3+ alarms for Ashland fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just after 7AM on Friday, May 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire Districts 38 (Ashland) and 45 (Girardville) to 421 West Center Street in Ashland for a reported house fire. A second alarm was quickly struck as Chief 38-02 arrived on the scene and found heavy smoke showing from a two and a half story residence with exposures attached on both sides. The second alarm brought units from Altamont, Englewood, Gordon and Mount Carmel. 3+ alarms in Mount Carmel
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – At 8:20AM, Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm to 232 South Beech Street in Mount Carmel for a working house fire. As the first alarm tones were being dropped, local police got on radio to report a fire on Beech Street. The police were advised the fire department was dispatched and about ten calls were received reporting the fire. Arson fire rocks Shamokin
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Around 10:30 PM on Monday, January 28, fire crews in Northumberland County were cleaning up from a two alarm job in Coal Township when the first alarm assignment was transmitted for Sunbury and Franklin Streets for a reported dwelling fire. Units arrived on the scene to find a large three-story brick row heavily involved in fire. Heavy lines were stretched and crews also went to the rear. Mt. Carmel fire hits fourth alarm
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – On Wednesday, November 14, the Mount Carmel fire department was dispatched to East Second street for a report of a dwelling fire. First arriving units found smoke pushing from four homes. A second alarm was immediately dispatched as crews began to attack the fire. The fire continued to progress and eventually a fourth alarm was struck bringing in multiple units from various counties.
