Driver ejected from pick-up in North Union
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 0001 hours on Sunday, July 17, Nuremberg-Weston Fire was dispatched to Buck Mountain Road at Truhan Lane for a vehicle crash with ejection. Engine 582 and 583 responded and were advised of a vehicle rollover with at least one person ejected and aeromedical on standby. Both engines arrived to find a large debris field approaching the scene from a pick-up truck that appeared to rollover multiple times before coming to rest off the roadway in a wooded area. SUV snaps pole in Black Creek
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 7, Nuremberg Fire & EMS were dispatched to the Tomhicken Road in the area of Pine Street in Black Creek Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 582 with Chief 581 responded as well as Ambulance 980. Units arrived on scene to find a SUV on its side in the woods. The vehicle appeared to have traveled off the roadway, through a ditch and then went airborne. Jeep crashes on Nuremberg Mountain
SCHUYLILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:10 PM on Sunday, February 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg Fire and EMS with Shenandoah ALS to 573 Mountain Road in North Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6402 called responding and was advised of a single vehicle accident involving a Jeep that had rolled multiple times with a female laying along the road complaining of neck pain. One killed in Nurermberg rollover
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – One person was killed in an overnight accident outside Nuremberg. Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg-Weston Fire and Nuremberg EMS to 318 Hazle Street, Black Creek Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries just after 8:30AM on Saturday, June 2. Deputy Chief 582 arrived on the scene and found the accident to be off the Nuremberg by-pass. The chief found a single vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof and down an embankment. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Fire Department, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993, Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Shenandoah ALS Medic 64 to 119 East Coal Street in Shenandoah for a reported house fire. All companies were quickly re-alerted for a working fire with entrapment. First arriving units found heavy fire from two row home units in the middle of the row.
