LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Thursday, November 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue and Valley Regional Medic 26 to State Route 924 in the area of the Fuel On Truck Stop in the Humboldt section of Hazle Township for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Mahanoy Area mock DUI accident
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Two cars collide, multiple teenagers are trapped in the vehicles, one teenager is thrown from the back seat through the windshield – she is dead on the hood. Minersville rescues one from apartment building fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just after 2:30 PM on Friday, March 25, the Minersville Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Sunbury Street and Delaware Street for a reported apartment building fire. Police units in the area noticed smoke coming from the windows of the building on the corner. Minersville Fire Chief 510 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working building fire and requested the second alarm be dispatched bringing Pottsville Stations 50 and 60 to the scene. SCHUYLILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:10 PM on Sunday, February 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg Fire and EMS with Shenandoah ALS to 573 Mountain Road in North Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6402 called responding and was advised of a single vehicle accident involving a Jeep that had rolled multiple times with a female laying along the road complaining of neck pain. Hazleton battles stubborn apartment building fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 11:15 on Sunday, December 2 Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched the Hazleton City Fire Department and APTS Medic 11 to the unit block of North Cedar Street for a reported residential structure fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Saturday, November 18 crews from throughout Schuylkill County met at an acquired structure in the Borough of Gilberton to participate in the final day of Rapid Intervention Team advanced training. The class was taught by Father Bill Glosser with help from Kevin Sibbett and Steve Schneider. The class was open for registration for all companies throughout the county. Firefighters from Englewood, Llewellyn, Mahanoy City (Citizens and West End) and Pottsville attended the class and were able to learn many tips and practice their skills. Deadly accident shuts down Route 61
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 4 (Fountain Springs and Lavelle), Ashland Rescue 38-50, Ashland EMS and Shenandoah ALS to 770 Fountain Street in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 9:15 AM on Wednesday, November 14, Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue was dispatched with Ringtown EMS to Zion Grove Road and Ferndale Road in Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injury. Shenandoah ALS was added to the assignment after reports of possible entrapment and an unconscious patient.
