Each 12-month calendar will feature a large, high quality Fire & Film photo as well as a secondary smaller photo within the dates of each month. New apparatus feature on Fire & Film!
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Tuesday, May 3, Fire & Film introduced a new feature to the website. The feature entitled “Apparatus” gives you one place to find photos of apparatus in action. Schuylkill County Apparatus lists all fire districts and then breaks each district into stations. Lower Luzerne County Apparatus were also updated. Continue to check back in on a regular basis and these pages will be updated after every incident that is photographed. Two large brush fires strike central Schuylkill County
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 2:15 PM on Sunday, April 24, the Pottsville Bureau of Fire was dispatched to investigate smoke and a possible brush fire on Peach Mountain Road. Assistant Chief P-4 went responding and was advised of additional calls reporting a brush fire near Peach Mountain Road and Mountain Drive. A large column of smoke was seen from miles away as crews from Stations 30 and 40 gathered to respond. Engines 32 and 41 arrived to find a large brush fire a few hundred yards off the roadway. Ashland fire brings in two alarms
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 03:18 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Ashland Fire Department to 1438 Market Street in Ashland for smoke in a dwelling. Shortly after the dispatched Ashland PD arrived in the area with heavy smoke in the intersection. The box was quickly upgraded for the dwelling fire. An Ashland line officer arrived on the scene with fire in the third floor of a two unit row home. With smoke and fire visible, a second alarm was requested.
