Shenandoah fire destroys home, damages several others
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:19PM, on Thursday, July 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 134 South Market Street for a garage fire. Marshal 751 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire, he was advised by Communications that police were reporting possible entrapment and recommending a second alarm be struck. The second alarm was struck as heavy fire was scene from the front of a residence with exposures on all sides. 4+ alarms called to Shenandoah as fire destroys two blocks of homes
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:40 AM, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to the area of 400 East Centre Street in Shenandoah for a working structure fire. The first alarm brought the Shenandoah Fire Department, Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Mahanoy City West End. First responding units were advised that Communications was receiving multiple calls on a building fire. Marshal 742 arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and reported a working fire with fire showing. Shenandoah makes quick work of house fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:21PM on Friday, April 22, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm to 217 West Arlington Street in Shenandoah for a reported house on fire. The Shenandoah Fire Department was due with Frackville Ladder 43-20, Mahanoy City Rescue 993 and Lost Creek EMS. Chief 740 went responding and was advised two callers were reporting a glow in the residence and the sound of “popping”. Heavy fire from Shenandoah dwelling
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just before 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the first alarm assignment to 508 West Mount Vernon Street in Shenandoah for a reported house on fire. The first alarm included the Shenandoah Fire Department, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Frackville Ladder 43-20. Shenandoah EMS was also due on the response. As the advisory was given to the police, the West Mahanoy Township police advised County that they could see smoke rising from Shenandoah in the area of the reported fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:43 PM on Tuesday, April 9, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (Shenandoah Heights, William Penn and Altamont), the Shenandoah Fire Department for Squrt 745 and Squad 741, Englewood Fire for their Rapid Intervention Team and Shenandoah ALS to 191 Ohio Avenue in the Shenandoah Heights section of the township for a reported house fire. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Monday, January 7 as firefighters were watching the BCS Championship Bowl Game Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida and Brandonville) with Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS to Rattlin Run Road in the area of the East Union Twp. / Union Twp. Line for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. House burns in West Mahanoy Township
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:47 PM on Wednesday, December 12, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) with the Hookies and Columbia from the Shenandoah Fire Department to 1200 West Coal Street in the Township for a reported house fire. Shenandoah ALS was also included on the first alarm assignment. Shenandoah Medic 6401 pulled out of the station and saw smoke showing from 12 blocks away. Car crashes into car then house in Gilberton
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 6:00PM on Saturday, December 8, the Gilberton Fire Department was dispatched with Frackville BLS and Shenandoah ALS to Main Street in the area of the Continental Fire Company for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engines 44-10 and 44-15 arrived on scene with EMS to find a two vehicle accident in a parking lot with one of the vehicles into a house. All occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival.
