Flames destroy garage, spread to Brandonville home
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 5:15 AM on Sunday, May 8, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 sent the first alarm to the area of 57 Main Boulevard in the Brandonville section of East Union Township for a reported garage on fire. Chief 09-02 went responding and was advised of two calls reporting a garage fire, one caller reported hearing a bang then saw fire from the garage. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Monday, January 7 as firefighters were watching the BCS Championship Bowl Game Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida and Brandonville) with Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS to Rattlin Run Road in the area of the East Union Twp. / Union Twp. Line for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. One injured in Brandonville rollover
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover. The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS. Sheppton Engine-Rescue 9-10 responded and was advised the accident would be located at 924 and Pumping Station Road with one vehicle overturned. 9-10 arrived on the scene to find a passenger vehicle on its roof against a pole with one female walking wounded. … Continue reading

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:15 PM on Saturday, December 31, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Sheppton-Oneida Fire / Rescue, Nuremberg EMS and Luzerne County Medic 11 to the intersection of Center Street (SR 924) and Green Mountain Road in East Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. West Hazleton fire goes two alarms
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 5 PM, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched West Hazleton Fire Station 24 and Hazle Township Fire Station 10 to 201 East Green Street in West Hazleton for a reported structure fire. Chief 244 arrived on the scene and found heavy fire showing from the Bravo side of a two and a half story duplex. The chief assumed command and requested a second alarm be struck.
