House burns in West Mahanoy Township
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:47 PM on Wednesday, December 12, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) with the Hookies and Columbia from the Shenandoah Fire Department to 1200 West Coal Street in the Township for a reported house fire. Shenandoah ALS was also included on the first alarm assignment. Shenandoah Medic 6401 pulled out of the station and saw smoke showing from 12 blocks away. Car rolls over in “The Patch”
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Wednesday, November 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched William Penn Fire and Lost Creek EMS to Mount Olive Boulevard in Lost Creek for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle rolled over in the roadway. All occupants were out of the vehicle and refused any treatment from EMS. Bathroom fire quickly doused in the patch
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) as well as Squrt 745 from Shenandoah to 529 Mount Olive Boulevard in the Lost Creek section of the township for a dwelling fire. Altamont Engine 367 was the first unit responding and was advised of a fire in the bathroom.
